August has been very quiet so far with only a couple of enquiries and these haven't been for standard ECU Remapping or they have been for vehicles that cannot be flash remapped through the diagnostic port such as an MG ZT 2.5 V6 which is a chip removal job.
August is a time for holidays and so on and a great deal of businesses can be quiet around this time.

Chip and Tune Remap Vauxhall Corsa VXR 2009 standard 192HP
Chipandtune.com remapped a Vauxhall Corsa VXR today in Manea near March. Matt wanted a performance remap and we certainly provided that. He took it for a drive afterwards and came back with a big smile and said, "that's some nice tuning".
Remember, if you have your car ECU Remapped by anyone, make sure they read and copy the original and don't flash a generic map onto the vehicle. If they do and there is a problem, then kiss goodbye to your original file as it's long gone.
We also tune each one to the spec you ask for and keep the original so you can put it back on if you ever need to, though no one has yet asked for the original. But it's there in case :-)

Audi A6 Remap
Chip and Tune remapped a 2002 Audi A6 1.9 TDi this morning, it went really well and the customer was over the moon with the results. We also did a Mercedes 2.7 CDTi the night before, remapped for economy but still gave increased performance. Again, a very pleased customer. OBD II
Remember, if you wish to flash re-map your car then it needs to be OBD II compatible. Don't assume just based on the type of engine you have that this is the case. Sometimes on a crossover year on a 2000-2001 plate car, you may well have had upgraded features on engine and gearbox, but the manufacturer may still have had a lot of old ECU's left over that needed to be used and you may have got one of them. If this is the case it may be able to be read but not remapped.

Flyers Completed for we sell any car
Flyers have now been completed and given to Parvez at We Sell Any Car in Peterborough. Parvez is looking to open a new area within the showroom selling after market products so this should fit in well with that when it is complete. In the mean time he will provide customers with a flyer that we have created each time they buy a car. I will attempt to scan the flyer so you can see it.

Sisco Garage Doddington
Ajay who owns Sisco Servicing in Doddington has asked Chip and Tune to Remap the ECU on his Audi A4 TDi. He wants better fuel economy. Leave it to us!
